We have supported a wide range of volunteers whom want to gain experience with Early Years children for a multitude of reasons and we love being able to accommodate this.

We have had volunteers come and give tennis lessons, gym sessions, read a story, school - university students and parents, we really encourage our parents to come and spend time with us in any way they can.

Kings Worthy Pre-School is a registered charity

We rely on fundraising and grants meet many costs, these could include purchasing new equipment, replenishing resources or to pay for visitors, days out and/or activities that will enhance children's learning, we must Fundraise!

Our Fundraisers are organised by our dedicated trustees but we need more help... We would really appreciate volunteer fundraisers who can work with our management committee to continue to plan and to go above and beyond for the children in our community.

At Kings Worthy Preschool, we believe that a placement for a student or volunteer at our Preschool is a valuable opportunity to build experience whilst learning about working within childcare provision.

Equally, we appreciate the positive contribution that such committed and enthusiastic people can bring to our Preschool.

Trainees under 17 years of age are supervised at all times and are not counted in the staffing ratios.

All students and volunteers must submit two character referees and have undergone an identity check and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure before they begin their placement at Preschool.

While on the placement, students and volunteers will be both allowed, and expected to participate in all aspects of work at Preschool.

Our children really enjoy having a new person to play with and our team have a fantastic skill set and are always happy to help meet your needs and answer your questions.
